“Signal stealer” attribute in All-Pro Football 2K8
In one of the first true hands-on previews to come out, Vetzballin mentioned that there is an attribute for some quarterbacks called "signal stealer". Joe Montana had one listed for Signal Stealer for his ability to read and know exactly what the defense was doing. Quarterbacks with signal stealer as one of their attributes will be able to see what play you called on defense by pressing the X button. NCAA Football 08 online names update
Previously it was reported that edited rosters with player names would not display during online games of NCAA Football 08. However it has now been confirmed by EA that the issue was actually related to a bug in the game that has since been addressed, and that they will in fact display when playing online games on the 360 and PS3. Media sites getting time with All-Pro Football 2K8
Still with only a marginal amount to go on and only a month away from the (supposed) release date, All-Pro Football 2K8 will get a chance to change the unenthusiastic atmosphere around the game when they showcase it to media sites. New NCAA Football 08 comparison videos
EA has released new videos for NCAA Football 08 that compare the game to the 07 version. In total there are four new videos featuring a showcase of the differences in player models, DB AI, dynamic running, and AI awareness. 2K may have sparked more controversy to come
The first questionable decision from 2K Sports that was sure to cause debate was the inclusion of OJ Simpson in the game.
