Details on the first Madden 08 roster update
The roster update that was expected to be released for the 360 and PS3 versions of Madden 08 is now available. In order to receive the new roster file, you need to start a ranked online game. It will prompt a download of the latest rosters which can then be saved over the previous online roster set and used offline as well. Is there a future for All-Pro Football?
TheStreet.com takes a look at the sales performance thus far for All-Pro Football 2K8 and whether or not it has done well enough to warrant it becoming a bi-yearly franchise such as 2K Sports/Take Two had been hoping for. Another release day means more online problems. This is Maddenoliday?
UPDATE 8/15: I have received word that the Madden team is doing some tweaking today to try and improve the online experience. There may be instances where players are booted from games as those changes are implemented. Hopefully we see some immediate improvements in this area. Over the past few days new screens have emerged for both NBA Live 08 and NBA 2K8. While NBA Live's continue to look incredibly impressive, these shots from NBA 2K8 are arguably the worst looking screens for a sports game on the 360/PS3 to date.
