After sorting through 30,000 submissions over the course of about six weeks EA has selected the winner of the jersey creator contest. The Golden State Warriors submission above was deemed to be the best. This jersey will be a free download in NBA Live 09. I went through the jerseys labeled as "EA Favorites" and found some I liked a lot even more than the one that was chosen as the winner. I previously spotlighted a handful and I still am somewhat partial to the two Grizzlies entries. Clic...

I am working on putting together some questions for a March Madness 08 producer interview coming up which I plan on sending in tomorrow. With so much having already been discussed about the game and having a demo already out I'd like to hear what remains unanswered within the community about the game or anything that may have arisen based on the demo. (Thanks to those who have made suggestions. The list for March Madness has been sent in) I should also have the opportunity to get some que...

A few additions have been made recently to the screenshot gallery. I have added 15 new screens for NFL Tour. This game is starting to gain some momentum especially after the news that it would be $50 instead of the standard $60 and now that it's less than 2 months until release. Right now this is my most anticipated game coming out through January. I'm hoping that it will provide the same level of fun for football that The BIGS did for baseball earlier this year. March Madness 08 has 2...
  • Adrian Peterson: Madden 09 cover front-runner

Last year prior to the Madden 08 cover announcement I supported the idea of putting selecting Devin Hester. There was no doubt he was one of the most valuable players in the league and arguably the most exciting. The impact he had for his team was unmatched although in a non-traditional way through special teams. This year it's another rookie that looks like he could be the most appealing option for the Madden cover. Adrian Peterson has quickly established himself as the best RB in the ...
  • Madden curse En Espanol

As I've written about previously I'm not a believer in the Madden curse. It is often reached for when the media wants an easy article to write. They'll wait on a natural event to occur and then jump on it, as if it was clever that they made the connection. However in this case the coincidence warrants mention. Chargers DE Luis Castillo, who was recently pegged for the cover of Madden 08 En Espanol releasing in December, left the game against the Vikings on Sunday after injuring his knee a...
