NCAA Football 09 website has launched
Yes, its still December, but the website for EA Sports NCAA Football 09 has just gone live. Reachable through BCSPreview.com as well as easports.com the site currently features previews of the upcoming BCS games using the NCAA Football engine. NFL Tour hands-on impressions
I was able to get a substantial amount of time in with NFL Tour at the PR event over the weekend. Tour is a game designed for those who have found others such as Madden to be too complicated or just a change of pace from the simulation experience. It strives to be simplistic and easy to play while providing a fun time. Getting time in with NFL Tour
I have arrived in New York for the NFL Tour event where I'll have the opportunity to get some hands-on time with the game, discussion with producer Phil Frazier, and a chance to chat with Trey Wingo who does the commentary for the game. NFL Tour gets an even better price
EA has adjusted the pricing strategy lately on the PS3 and 360 taking games such as March Madness 08 and the upcoming FIFA Street 3 and releasing them at $49.99. NFL Tour was also slated for the lower price as noted back in early November. However EA has now reduced the price of NFL Tour even more. The game will be only $39.99. NCAA Football 08 patch for 360 is out
The patch for the 360 version of the NCAA Football 08 has been released by Microsoft. This is the same patch that came out for the PS3 back at the end of October. EA was able to work around technical conflicts that seemed as though they were going to prevent the patch from coming to the 360. The patch addresses such issues as toning down the fumbles, more realistic defensive AI, and the ability to better lob passes. NFL Tour achievements
The achievements for the 360 version of NFL Tour have been revealed. There are only 14 of them (three of which are still unknown). They're pretty basic and unless the remaining ones contain something online related there are none there. That is somewhat disappointing on both counts. You can see the entire list here....

IGN previews NFL Tour
IGN has posted their latest preview of NFL Tour which you can check out here.They have also added the first videos of the two mini-games "Smash and Dash" and "Red Zone Rush" among some other new gameplay ones and a sizzle trailer. The preview doesn't really contain any new info but the videos are worth a look. NBA Live roster update details
I have received the list of changes that have been made with the first NBA Live 08 roster update which was released today for the 360 and PS3. Only player movement was made in this update. No ratings were adjusted. Unfortunately it looks like there will be no updates to the FIBA rosters despite earlier statements to the contrary.
