Chosen One trailer and box art
A couple weeks ago Dwight Howard and Al Horford were announced to be the cover athletes and spokesmen for NBA Ballers: Chosen One. The box art features Howard on the front and (presumably) Horford on the back. Click the thumbnail below to view it full size. Next NBA Live OTP night
This week the NBA Live OTP will take place on Saturday (2/2) beginning at 5PT/8ET. Two more games will be played and likely recorded with recaps and videos going up by Monday. Same procedures to be followed as the first two nights (meet in the pastapadre created lobby room with password otp). Vote in the poll for the two matchups to be played. Madden 08 roster update #7 details
Here is the complete list of ratings up/down, weapons added/lost and transactions included in roster update #7 for Madden 08 which was released today for the 360 and PS3. This will be the second to last update for the game. The final update is expected sometime following the Super Bowl and will remove players from IR. Madden Bowl Events
The Madden Bowl is taking place this weekend in Arizona and in conjunction with that Microsoft is sponsoring a series of online events. There are opportunities to play against Madden and NFL Tour developers as well as participate in tournaments which will result in being entered in a sweepstakes. NBA Live OTP night two recap
Both of the second night games were evenly matched and well played. I've definitely noticed improvement as everyone playing has gotten more comfortable with the mode, their assignments, and communication. One aspect I haven't really written much about is how great it is to have communication with only your teammates. Another two games of NBA Live 08 OTP will be played tonight and after the success of the first night I'm really looking forward to it. The games were a lot of fun and it was nice to have some teamwork and ball distribution to go along with no lag to speak of. The six minute quarters seemed to be the right length as well. This evening brings the first PP NBA Live 08 OTP night (360) and thanks to the voting we have the matchups for the two scheduled games. Fake Madden 08 press release making the rounds
Late Thursday a supposed press release for Madden 08 began showing up on various forums and was posted at this site. In it a patch is detailed that would address online "tactics" being exploited by users and changes made to gameplay and options in order to address those issues.
