Latest NBA Live 09 Q&A
NLSC has posted up a Q&A with NBA Live 09 producer Brian Ullrich. There is a good deal of information given and different aspects of the game touched on. This includes the Dynamic DNA, Live 365, the upcoming demo for 360/PS3, FIBA team selection process, and whether it will be as easy to drive to the lane as has been seen in some preview videos (despite the assurances of this not being the case from those at the community event). WR Direct Snap Glitch Being Dealt With
In general the last thing I'd want to do is bring attention to a glitch that could ruin the enjoyment of the game for people. Currently Madden 09 online play has been riddled with people using the WR direct snap glitch. Inexplicably SportsGamer had detailed exactly how this glitch is done. NCAA Football 09 Patch #2 Out Now
The second (and final) patch for NCAA Football 09 has gone live for the Xbox 360 and should be following for the PS3 in the near future. This patch addresses some gameplay improvements, fixes to different areas of the game such as the sliders, and the addition of being able to view online dynasties on EA Sports World. NBA 2K9 Previews
NBA 2K9 is now seeing a fair share of hands-on previews to flesh out the feature list that came out a while back. While much is known of both of the main NBA titles, 2K9 apparently still has a secret online mode in its back pocket to reveal at a later date. NBA Live 09 OTP Screenshots
EA Sports has sent over a batch of new screenshots featuring the Online Team Play in NBA Live 09. Last week I was able to detail the improvements made to the mode. These screens show some gameplay with the new meter displaying how well your player is performing, club joining and inviting, the trophy room, blog area, user scouting, and the recap screens following the game. Importing Plays In Madden from Head Coach
The integration between NFL Head Coach 09 and Madden 09 is limited to the exporting of plays from Head Coach to Madden. I wanted to try this out in an effort to see how easily it can be done and how well it works. What I found is that it's relatively easy but doesn't work exactly as expected. NCAA Football 09 Sales Numbers
Official NPD sales numbers for July have been released and offer the first opportunity to compare year over year how NCAA Football 09 is faring. Sales on the 360 were nearly identical to last year. Despite gaining significant user base EA was unable to increase sales at all there. 397,000 this year just as it was with 08. First Patch for Madden 09 Out Now
The patch that was expected around release time for Madden 09 has now gone out for both the 360 and PS3. The 360 received the patch early this morning while the PS3 has had it for the last couple days. The list of what was addressed in this patch can be found below. 1.
