Today a new article on the Inside EA Blog focuses on the addition of Adaptive AI. This is something that will be seen in both Madden 10 and NCAA Football 10. This is certainly something that has been long overdue and will hopefully lead to a more realistic simulation whether that be offline or online. You can check out the full posting here. First and foremost, we hope that our Adaptive AI will add a ton of replay value to our games this year by forcing you as a gamer to continue to mix up ...
  • NCAA Football 10: What is Teambuilder?

The NCAA Football 10 dynasty video that went up yesterday displayed the menu screen which includes a mode called Teambuilder. Probably the two most frequently requested features from the community have been for the return of Create-A-School and FCS. It has widely been expected that at least one, but probably not both, would make it in this year. At this point it is just speculation but Teambuilder representing what has been known as Create-A-School certainly makes sense. It would be easie...

After the revolutionary introduction of Online Dynasty in NCAA Football 09 the first look at what is being prepared for the mode in the upcoming release has been eagerly anticipated. Today that first look was presented through a video that has been posted on the official website for NCAA Football 10 and which I've included in this article. Discussed in the video are the custom conferences, the tuning of simulated stats to provide more realistic output, and fixing of the glitch that preven...

It is at about this point in the Madden Mock Draft where it starts to become more difficult to choose between players. There is more subjectivity involved in evaluating potential ratings and what they would mean for the teams. A bigger consideration becomes comparing options as far as how much they can offer immediately and what positions are easier to draft valuable contributors in later rounds. Continue on to view the picks for the 49ers, Bills, and Broncos. Remember this is more about ...

AZCentral.com is reporting a source has revealed that Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald will be on the cover of Madden 10. However it may not be just Fitzgerald as he may be joined by Steelers SS Troy Polamalu. You can read the full posting on the subject here. I have actually come across some information that could confirm at least part of this rumor but I am checking into it further before posting on it. This duo certainly would be at the top of anyone's most likely list for the cover this ...

Another Monday brings a new Inside EA Blog for Madden 10. This time it is franchise mode that is being spotlighted. Detailed in the blog are areas such as offseason player signing logic, the draft, and player progression. You can check out the full posting here. Last week the Madden 10 website launched and stated that a new set of candidates for the Madden 10 cover would be posted each Monday leading up to the reveal on Thursday April 23rd. The first two possibilities were Adrian Peterson and Ed Reed. As announced just moments ago on EA Sports Live the next two options for the cover are Ben Roethlisberger and Brandon Jacobs. With the amount of exposure Big Ben has received in the first two screenshots and his mention here it makes me doubt he'll ...

Traditionally there has never been much insight into the upcoming Madden before the NFL Draft. This year all that has changed with the Inside EA Blog postings and the first two screenshots having already been officially unveiled and broken down. Ian Cummings, lead designer of Madden 10, today posted a new screenshot. You can see it full size in the gallery. The new screen does a good job of displaying some of the subtle improvements that have been made including the procedural awareness. ...
