IGN has posted up hands-on impressions of Madden 10. While the preview does touch primarily on areas of the game that have already been discussed there are more in-depth details to be found. There are also 14 new screenshots which you can take a look at here. The screens focus on QBs and pocket protection. Keep in mind that there are some big announcements still under wraps for Madden with some of them coming at E3. That is what I'm really waiting on to provide some excitement for this ye...

Over the last couple days there has been a great deal of talk around a lawsuit filed by former ASU and Nebraska QB Sam Keller. In the class action suit he claims that the NCAA and EA Sports profited off his name as they do all other collegiate football and basketball athletes in games such as NCAA Football and NCAA Basketball. He cites the players in the games as having the same number, representative player ratings, similar builds and accurate hometowns of the actual players. Of course no ...

Despite hope that Brett Favre would actually fade out of the spotlight this year it appears the inevitable return has been set in motion. The first step was when he requested (twice) for his release by the Jets. The benefit of the release was that it made him a free agent clearing him to sign with another team. Now though even more evidence that he is strongly leaning towards a return as he is set to meet with Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress later this week to discuss coming back to p...

While this month's edition of Gamepro is advertised as being the "first hands-on" preview of Madden 10 and from that it has delivered some new information. Copies are reaching subscribers and stores providing an opportunity to find out some new details about the game. There is a new injury system this year that adds a strategical element. The choice w...
  • Recent Trailers: NCAA, Madden Wii, Tiger Wii

Everything surrounding the events in New York last week and the subsequent coverage coming out of them caused me to bypass posting up some recent trailers. They include ones for NCAA Football 10, Madden 10 on the Wii, and Tiger Woods 10 on the Wii. For NCAA and Madden they are the debut trailers while the Tiger video shows off the new disc golf mode. Until recently when the inclusion of disc golf into Tiger was being discussed I had never even heard of it. Apparently it is one of the fast...
