Chris Johnson Wants On The Madden Cover
Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson is now in the news due to statements made about how he should be the highest paid offensive player in the league and how he feels he has been slighted by not being offered the cover of Madden 11. Instead the cover athlete for the game, which will be announced prior to the draft, this year is being determined based on voting results. Drew Brees, Jared Allen, and Reggie Wayne are in the running.

Tecmo Bowl Throwback Video Interview
Gametrailers has released a video interview with one of the producers of the upcoming XBL/PSN downloadable title Tecmo Bowl Throwback. Included in the video is the opportunity to see the first gameplay footage. Much of the discussion centers around the ability to play in either 3D or in the retro 2D. The 3D version of play offers an updated feel and a much wider range of vision.

First Madden 11 News and Screenshots
Other than the mantra of Madden 11 being "simpler, quicker, and deeper" there has been little in the way of specific details about the upcoming game. A couple changes have already been confirmed for the upcoming NFL season that will need to be instituted in Madden 11. Earlier today the NFL owners passed the new rule for overtime, which at the moment is just to be used in the playoffs but in a couple months it may be voted in to use in the regular season as well.
