Brandon Marshall Traded to Dolphins
Brandon Marshall has been traded from the Denver Broncos to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for this year's second round pick (43rd) and next year's second round pick.
Marshall provides the Dolphins with an offensive threat that hasn't been delivered by top choice Ted Ginn, who himself is apparently being shopped. Considering how the AFC East has been getting better as the Jets stockpile talent the Dolphins needed an additional element on offense to help score points and keep them in games. ...
Madden 11 Demo Voting Update
The voting for what demo matchup will be offered for Madden 11 opened on March 30th with the winner to be announced on April 22nd, the day the NFL Draft begins. It now appears that a call can be made on the race as the AFC Championship rematch of the Jets @ Colts has been way out in front and by now has established enough of a lead that a comeback by one of the other options seems to be very unlikely.

Backbreaker Release Date Questions Return
Despite Backbreaker having a history of release date shifting it finally appeared to have settled into May 25th. With that approaching there are now signs that it may not be hitting that date. Amazon, Gamefly, and Walmart have shifted the release to June 1st. Gamestop, usually the first indicator of a release date change, still has it slated for 5/25. Generally though retailers do not make changes without having reason to do so, and as such confirmation could be coming in the near future one w...

Santonio Holmes Traded to Jets
For the second consecutive Sunday a big trade has gone down. It isn't very often that Super Bowl MVP's are traded, but when they are they generally fetch better than what the Steelers have obtained in exchange for Santonio Holmes. Holmes has been traded to the New York Jets for a fifth round pick (151st) in this year's draft.
The Steelers have recently been dealing with a troubling image hit due to the actions of both Holmes and Ben Roethlisberger. Holmes is actually facing a potential four...
ESPN in NCAA Football 11
For all who have been pleading for ESPN style presentation to be added in the NCAA Football series, it appears you will be getting just that. While there were some comments made in the earlier article regarding the spotting of ESPN in an image, I hesitated to post on that because I couldn't make it out myself. However EA Sports released a video of the cover shoot in which the ESPN branding is clearly visible.
While this does not necessarily mean there will be full-on ESPN presentation, it w...
Tim Tebow Confirmed NCAA Football 11 Cover Athlete
It comes as absolutely no surprise that today Tim Tebow has been announced as a cover athlete for NCAA Football 11. ESPN has posted an interview with Tebow that talks about the cover news, his thoughts on NCAA Football 11, and his pursuit of Donny Moore to boost his Madden 11 ratings.
Update: Tebow is confirmed to be on ALL versions of NCAA Football 11. Kotaku got the info that he will be the universal cover athlete for the game.
"Tebow will be the best trucking quarterback in 'Madden' t...
Madden 11 Blog on Locomotion
Earlier this week the addition of a new locomotion engine was announced for NCAA Football 11. That news, a very core gameplay enhancement, garnered more positive reaction than any improvement or feature reveal has in quite some time. Now the detailing of the locomotion engine expands with an explanation of how it is being utilized in Madden 11. You can read the full blog here which includes some videos demonstrating the tech in action.
At the start of the Madden NFL 11 cycle our goals were to...
