Madden 11 Sales Open Strong
After a start to the year that saw dramatic declines in sales with UFC Undisputed 2010 and Tiger Woods 11, NCAA Football 11 was able to buck the trend by growing by 8%. QuickHit NFL Launches; Adds Three New Current Players to Roster
QuickHit Football has now relaunched as with the NFL integration, as the free-to-play browser based game now incorporates team logos, colors, uniforms, stadiums, and other NFL branding. Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb, defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth, and Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson have signed on. NCAA Football 11 Patch #3 Out on PS3
The third patch and third tuning set for NCAA Football 11 is available on the PS3 yet currently it still has not arrived for the 360. It is unknown how long the 360 side will be waiting after it missed its announced release yesterday. The most immediate issue being corrected with these updates is the pump fake glitch while also fixing the QB spy glitch, adding in-season player progression, and making gameplay tweaks via the tuner. Madden 11 Screens: Late Preseason Moves
With the next roster update for Madden 11 expected by the end of the week I got the jump on a few of the bigger transactions that have taken place recently. Players such as T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Matt Leinart have moved and with the cut down to 53 creating a huge number of changes (from adds/cuts to ratings to numbers) this is the most substantial update that will occur in that regard all year. Madden 11 Patch #2 Details
The first highly anticipated patch for Madden 11 arrived today for the PS3 and 360. The patch brings back in the classic pre-play controls that were removed and replaced with the "Strategy Pad". It also adds in "Madden Moments Live" which will present new moments throughout the year for purchase. EA Sports has announced that a third patch for NCAA Football 11 is scheduled to be released on Tuesday September 7th. Along with the patch will be yet another "tuner" update. Madden NFL Superstars Impressions
Madden NFL Superstars launched earlier this week on Facebook. The free-to-play management sim is supported by microtransactions and follows a similarly structured FIFA Superstars that arrived earlier this summer to big success.
