    A note on the next roster update for Madden 11 as the question is being asked by many, there will be no update this week as it will arrive instead on Friday February 4th. The update, which will be the 19th of the season, will take into account the Divisional round and Conference Championship games. One final roster update is expected following the Super Bowl to make final ratings changes and return other players from injury....

    The event earlier this week to officially set the Nintendo 3DS for March 27th at $250 also nailed down a large group of release window titles. Unfortunately none were confirmed to arrive alongside the portable system just yet, but both Madden NFL Football and Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D are both likely to be there on day one.     This morning Nintendo officially announced details for the upcoming release of the 3DS. The portable system with glasses-less 3D will go for $249.99 and release on Sunday March 27th. Madden NFL Football for the 3DS had its initial features revealed back in November. Madden will include GameFlow play-calling as an option, a standard season mode, a 5-on-5 arcade mode, "Call Your Shots" which was initially introduced on the Wii version, and "Spotlight Moments" which first came about on the mob...

    Last week's roster update for Madden 11 cleaned up some of the players that had been off considering performance over the course of the full season and also returned some from injury.     With strong showings in December both Madden 11 and NBA 2K11 were able to secure their respective spots within the top 10 highest selling games of 2010. Madden 11 finished as the second highest selling game of the year while NBA 2K11 came in tenth. (more…)...

This update takes a wider look at developments of the whole year instead of just the end of the season and the playoffs.
