Final Four of Madden 12 Cover Tournament
The Madden NFL 12 cover tournament has reached the semifinals and voting is now open. As expected based on the early voting tallies Aaron Rodgers faces Peyton Hillis in one side of the bracket while Adrian Peterson takes on Michael Vick in the other. Voting continues through next Monday morning when the winners will be announced and go head-to-head for the honor of being on the cover. The latest version of Madden generally hits stores on the second Tuesday of every August. There was the special exception of a Friday release for Madden 10 but otherwise it represents the standard schedule of release. Could something be up though with the release of Madden NFL 12? Madden 12 Elite Eight Voting Update
ESPN has delivered the early voting returns in the quarterfinals of the tournament to capture the cover of Madden NFL 12. Considering that updates for both of the previous rounds after a day or two have foretold the eventual winners it would seem to be an indicator of the basic trends coming in and have little to no influence on the voting patterns going forward.
