    The presence of Madden NFL 19 at the EA Play event was limited to a trailer, which had the intention of demonstrating the new Real Player Motion technology.     For the first time since 2007 an edition of the Madden series will be coming to PC. At EA Play today it was announced that Madden NFL 19 will release on Windows PC through Origin this August. Over the years there have been rumors and even retailer listing errors that have gotten fans' hopes up for a return but this time it is for real.     Madden NFL 19 was officially announced last week along with some descriptions of the new features to expect out of the game. For the first in-depth look at Madden 19 EA Sports has detailed what to expect out of Ultimate Team.     EA Sports today unveiled the first details on Madden NFL 19 in advance of next month's EA Play. The game will feature a new animation system and a custom draft class creator in Franchise Mode.     Rex Dickson, the creative director of the Madden NFL series since 2012 when Ian Cummings departed the EA Tiburon studio, made it official today that he has left EA Sports for a position with mobile gaming company Backflip Studios.  (more…)...

    There hasn't been much movement over the last six months towards the potential for a return of college video games. For that to happen a new system will have to be put into place that allows collegiate athletes to be paid for their likenesses while retaining eligibility.     The first EA Sports game from 2017 has now reached the Vault in EA Access. Madden NFL 18 was added today making it available in full to all subscribers. EA Access is currently exclusive to Xbox One with Sony declining to offer the service on PS4 despite its remarkable value. EA executives have hinted that may change this year however.
