    According to EA Sports and Madden NFL 12 there are currently 36 "clutch" players in the league. The new 'Player Traits' this year provide more insight into how individuals are viewed and how they will perform in Madden beyond just their ratings.     Though only a few days in Madden NFL 12 has delivered one of the better online experiences to date for a sports game. Typically this series, and many others, struggle with performance issues at and shortly following release but that has largely been avoided here.     Chalk this up to a curiosity at this point as it relates to the current football franchises at EA Sports but the company has begun hiring for the new studio being built in Austin and they are seeking positions for unidentified football games. The current listings show software engineers and assistant designers being sought for "football".     Ever since announcing the outline for the upcoming NCAA Football 12 patch at the beginning of August EA Sports has been quiet as to when it would arrive. Originally stated to be out by the end of the month it appears that is now unlikely to happen and it will be slipping into September. In the first update on the patch since August 2nd EA stated today that it has now cleared through internal testing and has been submitted to Microsoft and Sony.
