    The competition involving 32 legends and 32 active players to win the cover of Madden NFL 25 has now moved forward to the second round. A campaign to push Jake Delhomme over Joe Montana failed miserably as 92% of the votes went Montana's way. A day after claiming he was a lock to win the whole thing Chad Johnson has thankfully been knocked out by Tim Brown. Over 21 million votes were cast in the round.     A few days of voting still remain in the first round of the Madden NFL 25 cover tournament. 64 candidates are involved with 32 legends in one bracket and 32 current stars in the other.     Branching out a bit to something different here is Frozen Endzone, just announced by Mode 7 Games, which will be coming to the PC and Mac in 2014 following a beta to be held later this year. The game will attempt to meld a highly-stylized futuristic professional football theme with strategic turn-based gameplay in both single and multiplayer environments.     The brackets were unveiled earlier this week for the competition to capture the cover of Madden NFL 13. Featuring 32 legends and 32 current stars, each with their own bracket the winners of which are on a collision course to battle for the honor, the voting has been opened and the first round runs through next Wednesday.     The national nightmare that has been the process to determine the cover of NCAA Football 14 has finally ended. After nearly three months and involving all 126 FBS schools Denard Robinson, representing the Michigan Wolverines, has captured the cover. He held the lead in the finals over Texas A&M's Ryan Swope throughout until voter fraud became evident when the numbers dramatically shifted in the final hours.
