And remember to vote at the NFL Tour website every day. -Jason Taylor comes off an amazing season in which he recorded 10 1/2 sacks, two interceptions both of which were returned for touchdowns, and 10 fo...

EA Sports has announced that the cover athlete for the upcoming NFL Tour will be determined through a voting process. The three candidates are Shawne Merriman of the San Diego Chargers, Jason Taylor of the Miami Dolphins, and Dwight Freeney of the Indianapolis Colts. Personally I support Jason Taylor for the cover. After the incredible season he had he deserves the recognition. However I suspect Merriman will come away as the winner. Who should it be? Visit the official website for NFL...

Since being originally announced on July 10th there has been no additional information on NFL Tour from EA Sports. Other than assuming it is the reinvention of the NFL Street franchise and that it will be considered an "arcade" style game there hasn't been much said about it yet. Earlier this week Peter Moore, who just left Microsoft to head up EA Sports, briefly talked about NFL Tour. In talking on his company's recently announced football title NFL Tour (PS3,...

Today brought the announcement of a new football game coming to the 360 and PS3 titled Backbreaker. Made by NaturalMotion using their Euphoria engine, the focus is on tackling. Every tackle will be unique. Of course, with such an emphasis placed on tackling, one might wonder if Backbreaker's gameplay will be closer to simulation, ala Madden, or perhaps an arcade style similar to NFL Blitz. Issuing a sly smile, Torsten shrugged and said, "It's probably not right to go with either ...

The company, says Divnich, would be better off pulling the plug on its next football game. You can find myself quoted ...

In their latest bid to collect on the civil judgment, the Goldmans went after any licensing fees, royalties or other compensation Simpson was paid or will be paid for his name and likeness in the new video game, "All-Pro Football 2K8."
