A while back I looked at some of the signs that a new NFL Head Coach game was on the way for the 360 and PS3. Madden Bowl Events
The Madden Bowl is taking place this weekend in Arizona and in conjunction with that Microsoft is sponsoring a series of online events. There are opportunities to play against Madden and NFL Tour developers as well as participate in tournaments which will result in being entered in a sweepstakes. There have been rumors of a sequel to NFL Head Coach for some time now. It started last year back at E3, more recently on a gaming news rumor site, and google searches for "NFL Head Coach 09" bring back mentions from resumes of people who have apparently been working on the game. NFL Tour coverage recap
With NFL Tour now released I thought it would be beneficial to link to all the prerelease coverage of the game and give a few final thoughts. Tour is a fun multiplayer game and one that I've already spent more time playing online and head-to-head than some of the "sim" games from the last year. NFL Tour Tournament Results
Thanks to everyone who took part in the tournament. It went relatively smoothly and turned out to be a lot of fun. It was nice having a large group in just enjoying the games. The lack of time commitment for each one was a real benefit to coordinating and completing the tournament successfully. Here is the final bracket.
