SuperSim your way to achievement points
Running SuperSim will credit you for any Xbox 360 achievements gained in Madden 08 and NCAA Football 08. You don't even have to play a single down to get many of them. I went into Play Now and set a game to 15 minute quarters. Immediately I turned on SuperSim to take me to the end of the game. I got 14 achievements for Madden and 4 for NCAA in my first attempt! That is 215 gamer points for Madden in those couple minutes while I had my back turned to the game! By setting up the Su...

Ideas for NCAA Football 09
With NCAA Football 08 now released and having had a few weeks to play it comes time to start generating ideas for NCAA Football 09. This is when input can be considered as pretty soon the point of no return will have been reached for what goes into and is focused on for 09. I will have the opportunity to communicate ideas and opinions to the team working on 09, so feel free to leave your thoughts on what you would like to see in the game and what you would like improved. Padre’s Campus Legend: Part 10
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5 - Part 6 - Part 7 - Part 8 - Part 9
As I mentioned previously the Campus Legend career of Pasta Padre will continue throughout his Junior season with the possibility of a Senior season. Since he'll be carried over into Madden's Superstar Mode, it's a good idea to keep following along to have the full history.
Continue on for the full second half of Padre's sophomore year.

Highlight clip contest winner
Congrats to the winner of the NCAA Football 08 highlight clip contest. Clip #2 came through in a narrow victory over #1. The Penn State INT to forced fumble to return for TD was unique enough to beat out the great Miami TD run. He'll have the choice between NBA Street: Homecourt on the PS3 or Def Jam: Icon on the 360. Check back to the site in the near future for another contest! ...
Reviewers don’t actually bother with online play
I've stated this before in write-ups, but media site reviewers don't bother to fully evaluate the online modes of sports titles. Whether it be due to having to push out reviews before the game actually releases or just a lack of caring about it, clearly it is the one area that is routinely ignored for sports games. Issues such as the distance based lag in EA Sports titles and the broken leagues in 2K titles never have been mentioned in the past. Some games may even end up with noth...

Vote for the highlight clip contest winner
There were a ton of submissions for the NCAA Football 08 highlight clip contest and narrowing it down to only five was extremely tough to do. I went back and forth on several of them. In some ways I don't feel satisfied with this top five because there were some really cool clips that I had to leave out. But I said I would trim it to five final candidates to be voted upon, and that is what I have done.
Ultimately I ended up taking a handful that had some sort of variation to them. There ...
