Your Thoughts on NCAA Football 11
Now that NCAA Football 11 is officially out leave your impressions in the comments! So far it seems that the biggest issue has to do with QBs getting stuck in an animation and running backwards for a safety, which can happen on occasion to the CPU or User and may be isolated to certain play-action bootlegs. Outside of that no other major issues seem to have been identified to this point. As to rosters there are currently no fully named sets completed though the expectation is that there will b...

First NCAA Football 11 Review and Online Dynasty Preview
Game Informer has posted up the first review for NCAA Football 11 giving it a 90 (with 87.5 as a second opinion). Last year GI gave the game a 8.5 so what your personal opinion of NCAA 10 was and how it matches up to that score could be an indication of how much weight to give it. I've seen the "embargo" talk bandied about but typically gaming companies will allow reviews with scores of nine or higher to go up early and that is probably what took place here. You won't see any lower score revie...
Pastapadre Online Dynasty Owners
Here is the initial list of owners in the NCAA Football 11 official Pastapadre Online Dynasty. It was a difficult process to complete as there were so many sign-ups and only a limited number of slots. What this means though is anyone who wishes to take part should stick around in the forum to keep an eye on any openings and also the large pool of people who want to participate in a dynasty are welcome to set some up and we'll make room for any those requested. Check out the PP online dynasty f...
NCAA Football 11 Team Name Audio List
Last year there was over 2400 team nicknames included in the audio files which added an element to Teambuilder that caught some by surprise. I remember I was not expecting to hear Brad Nessler call out my Transformers team name making it a cool moment when I first heard it. For NCAA Football 11 there are nearly 4600 names with the complete list found here.
Kotaku posted up an article on the subject going over the method behind how the names were chosen and recorded and the extent to which E...
Check Out Ongoing NCAA 11 Online Dynasties
The Online Dynasty website for NCAA Football 11 is now live and with copies of the game out in the wild there are a few dynasties already in motion. On the website you can check out news articles with screenshots and video highlights, current standings and the Top 25 poll, and the team rosters and schedules. I've linked to the two currently active dynasties and will monitor to see if any others appear soon. For those involved in a dynasty the site will also allow for the completion of recruiti...
NCAA 11 Pastapadre Online Dynasty
Back when the Online Dynasty mode first launched with NCAA Football 09 the Pastapadre Online Dynasty was a big success, but the dynasty activity took a nosedive with a lack of improvement in general with NCAA Football 10 as well as the inability to get one started with Teambuilder squads involved.
Signs are that NCAA Football 11 will be delivering a compelling experience due to the ability to access the dynasties online and even complete tasks such as recruiting. That should make things mov...
NCAA 11 and Madden 11 Early Release?
Check out this image that was first posted in the forum. Walmart promotional materials are advertising that NCAA Football 11 will be in stores on July 6th while Madden will arrive on July 27th. Those dates are a week early for NCAA and two weeks early for Madden. So lets go ahead and run through a few possibilities of what this could amount too.
1- Walmart screwed up and they simply printed the wrong dates.
For: Walmart deals with a lot more than video games so maybe an error of this m...
