Though NCAA Football 13 was largely overshadowed at E3 by Madden NFL 13 the move to release the demo during the event paid some dividends for EA Sports. NCAA may not be the the innovative product this year but the improvements that were made do seem to be resonating once the opportunity arises to actually play the game. The results of the poll which collected over 5K votes will be encouraging for EA though not overwhelmingly so.  (more…)...

EA Sports today rolled out details on Road to Glory career mode for NCAA Football 13. The criticism towards "Reaction Time" when it was introduced with the Hesiman Challenge was significant and that isn't likely to change here given how it's being presented as the main new feature for Road to Glory though accompanied by more worthwhile enhancemenets. Other improvements to the mode include the option to choose from four different difficulty levels, play calling shifting to focus more on th...

In terms of news NCAA Football 13 hasn't been faring all too well lately. EA Sports pushed out the demo for the game five weeks prior to release hoping to distract from all the big Madden NFL 13 announcements and subsequent buzz - and by giving consumers their hands-on experience with NCAA 13 that the improvements would be evident and perceived as a worthwhile upgrade from last year regardless of what is going on with Madden. Now that the demo has been out for a few days how do you feel a...

Here is the top 25 ranking of teams in NCAA Football 13 as grabbed from the show floor at E3. Defending National Champion Alabama leads the way despite five teams actually being rated higher in the game. The biggest discrepancy comes with Texas who got a 99 overall rating but are only ranked 22nd. The lowest rated team to make the top 25 is West Virginia at 87 overall who are all the way up at #10. Over at Tradition Sports Online they were able to gather all the team ratings for NCAA Football 13 - Overall, Offense, Defense, and Prestige ranking. Check out the entire list here. The numbers are so outrageously high that the accuracy had to be questioned but they were pulled right off video of the game at E3. 30 teams are rated 90 or above. Topping out at 99 overall are LSU, Oregon, Texas, USC, and Wisconsin. Close behind at 97 overall are Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Mich...

  • NCAA Football 13 Lacks Infinity Engine

The "monumental change to gameplay" for Madden NFL 13 won't be reflected at all in NCAA Football 13 despite the two products attempting to have more synergy than ever before. I've received confirmation that the "Infinity Engine" that was announced for Madden 13 earlier today will not be featured in NCAA 13.  (more…)...
