    It was first discussed last week that the silhouettes in the graphic released by EA Sports appeared to be of the as-yet-to-be-named cover athlete candidates for NCAA Football 14. That has proven to be the case as the company has revealed the first names from the bunch and as expected Denard Robinson is Michigan's representative while Alabama's is Eddie Lacy.   • Four Schools Breaking Away Early in Vote for NCAA Football 14 Cover Representation

    Though there is ample time to go in the voting round of eight programs for the NCAA Football 14 cover here is an update on the current standings. Michigan is leading the way with 22,044 votes and Alabama is close behind having totaled 20,343. Texas A&M is sitting comfortably at 12,623 while Oregon remains somewhat vulnerable with 8,111 votes.     EA Sports today announced the schools that have advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Football 14 cover tournament and have opened up the voting. Once again it is being handled through Facebook with a main poll which will be followed by secondary ones. Alabama led the way in the round of 16 followed closely behind by Texas A&M and Michigan.     The voting for the cover of NCAA Football 14 continues and based on the current results, which are unlikely to see a significant shift from now until voting closes, there are nine schools that are vying for the eight available slots. Michigan is leading the way with 25,552 votes followed closely behind by Alabama with 25,008 and Texas A&M with 23,340. Those three are blowing away the field.     The campaign to get a school and their eventually-to-be-determined representative on the cover of NCAA Football 14 continues with the field being trimmed in half yet again. 16 programs remain in the running with voting on the next round (all back to a clean slate) beginning tomorrow through the game's Facebook page and open until next Tuesday.     EA Sports has announced the 32 schools that are moving on in the competition to have their representative on the cover of NCAA Football 14.     EA Sports has released the latest standings in the first round of the vote for which school will be represented on the cover of NCAA Football 14. Leaping into the #1 spot is Notre Dame followed by Oregon, LSU, Ohio State, and Texas A&M.     Voting on the first round of the NCAA Football 14 cover campaign continues through Monday but with the poll numbers public the schools moving on can pretty much be solidified at this point. Engagement levels have not been good for EA Sports as only 18 schools have been able to collect over 1K votes in the two weeks now since kicking things off.
