    Week seven of the NFL season is now in the books and it's the time of the season where players that have been on the PUP list can return to action. The big surprise was Terrell Suggs being activated and participating immediately for the Ravens. Brady Quinn will be replacing Matt Cassel as the Chiefs starting QB and a number of impact injuries will be reflected in the next Madden NFL 13 roster update.     Microsoft back at their E3 press conference announced SmartGlass - an app which turns phones and tablets into second screens that communicate with the Xbox 360. Madden NFL 13 was part of the demonstration as plays were selected and even drawn up right on the touch screen and then sent to the game.     The roster update following week six of the season for Madden NFL 13 is slated to release by Saturday morning. It will include numerous impactful injuries including trips to the IR for Ray Lewis, Lardarius Webb, Cedric Benson, and Ryan Kalil with DeMarco Murray and Kevin Kolb moving down the depth chart.     The patch delivering numerous new features to Madden NFL 13 arrived yesterday but with it a few issues have already been identified. The most prominent affects player editing within Connected Careers mode which was one of the most highly anticipated additions. Making any changes to players in certain positions results in their appearance changing and becoming scrawny.     Week six of the NFL season is in the books and the AFC only has two teams, the Ravens and Texans, with winning records. Injuries will greatly affect the former as both Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb are out for the season.     The highly anticipated patch for Madden NFL 13, that delivers numerous feature additions and various other improvements, has arrived a day early.     Electronic Arts back in July announced a settlement had been reached regarding the lawsuit originally filed in 2008 that contested the company raised prices of their football products following the acquisitions of multiple exclusive licenses. For those that wish to claim part in the action a form has gone out now to do so.  (more…)...

    It's was a huge month for EA Sports with official NPD sales numbers arriving and four of the top ten titles for September coming from the company. Madden NFL 13 finished in 1st, FIFA 13 in 3rd, NHL 13 in 6th, and NCAA Football 13 in 8th. Only NCAA 13 has seen a drop in sales year-over-year while the others have produced noteworthy gains.  (more…)...
