The roster update following week eight of the season for Madden NFL 13 is scheduled to be out by Saturday morning for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Madden Social Officially Launches
The iOS app for Madden NFL Social is now available bringing together both ends of the new game as it went live two weeks ago on Facebook without any announcement. The free-to-play game can be managed either through Facebook or mobile providing for cross-platform play and blends some aspects of Ultimate Team mode and another Facebook game, Madden NFL Superstars, in a multiplayer turn-based environment. (more…)...

Madden NFL 13 Body Editing Removed from Online Connected Careers
As previously reported the ability to edit the body makeup of current players within Madden NFL 13's Connected Careers mode has been removed. This has taken effect through a server-side update to "online" careers. Presumably the feature will be removed from "offline" careers as well but doing so there requires being part of a patch. With Halloween right around the corner EA Sports has introduced a few themed additions to Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 13 and NHL 13. Editing of Player Appearance Being Disabled in Madden NFL 13 Online Connected Careers
Though the recent patch for Madden NFL 13 introduced the ability to edit players within Connected Careers mode it was quickly discovered that making any change would dramatically alter the appearance of certain players.
