Featuring 32 legends and 32 current stars, each with their own bracket the winners of which are on a collision course to battle for the honor, the voting has been opened and the first round runs through next Wednesday. The entire campaign for the cover will end the day before the NFL Draft begins.
Here is a look at the "Old School" bracket with predictions of who will move on to the se...
2013 NFL League Year First Day Moves in Madden Screenshots
It's been a big 24 hours of free agency signings and trade announcements. While teams have somewhat reigned in the outrageous spending of year's past - there has been no Mario Williams type deal handed out - some of the most high profile names remain available. Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett, Jake Long, Wes Welker, and Greg Jennings are still out there. The Ravens had a rough day losing Dannell Ellerbe, who they had hope to re-sign, while letting go of Anquan Boldin and Paul Kruger. Combined w...

The voting campaign for the cover of Madden NFL 25 has now gone live. The tournament features two separate brackets with legends on one side and current stars on the other. The winner of each bracket will then go head-to-head for the honor.
Some of the names in the running include former Madden cover athletes Ray Lewis, Marshall Faulk, and Eddie George along with notables such as Joe Montana, Deion Sanders, Barry Sanders, Dan Marino, and Randall Cunningham. On the side of the current play...
Seahawks Trade for Percy Harvin; 49ers Follow with Anquan Boldin
Percy Harvin is on the move to the Seattle Seahawks. In exchange for their first round pick (#25), a seventh rounder, and a conditional fourth rounder in 2014 the dynamic offensive weapon is joining a team that clicked in all facets on offense in the second half of the season giving Russell Wilson another weapon at his disposal. The Minnesota Vikings are now barren at wide receiver so expect them to make moves there as free agency opens as well as in the draft. They now will have the 23rd an...
One Longtime Exclusive Partner With NFL Considers Dumping Their License
Last week an NFLPA representative shed some light on how the exclusive league license for video games is viewed. They consider their relationship with EA Sports strong and ultimately the job of the Player's Association is to protect the members and bring in as much money for them as possible. Considering the established history with EA, and the amount of control the NFL likes to exert regarding image, it displayed the picture of how the licensing is viewed as a whole. The NFL (not just NFLPA...
Madden NFL 25 Cover Voting Starts Early
Apparently because the three month long cover vote process for NCAA Football 14 could not be made more irritating given that it comes to a close at the end of the week, EA Sports has extended the campaign for the cover of Madden NFL 25. Slated to officially begin next Monday with two brackets of 32 players (legends in one and current stars in the other) the company is making the last slot for the former determined by a "play-in" vote.
The matchup features Jerry Rice vs Cris Carter with su...
NFLPA Explains Position on the Exclusive License
As the NFL and EA approach the final year of the current exclusive contract to produce league licensed video games all eyes will be on whether an extension is reached between the two parties. Considering that extensions to the deal have been reached in February 2008 (for three years) and February 2011 (for one year) news on that could be coming soon.
Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs for the NFLPA, George Atallah, actually addressed the exclusive license in an AMA on Reddit...
Madden NFL 13 Roster Update #22 Details
The roster update following the Super Bowl for Madden NFL 13 is expected to release by Saturday for the Xbox 360 and PS3. In what is likely to be the last of the year this update focuses of course on the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers with just a couple other transactions including the release of Titus Young from the Lions. The Rams were the only team to place a waiver claim in for him but that is probably going to be considered an off-season move that won't be reflected in Madden ...
