    Time to clean up on some of the other news to break since the start of E3 which includes word from Cam Weber that Madden NFL 25 on Xbox One and PS4 will be fully featured and EA denying having placed any pressure on Microsoft or Sony to institute severe DRM restrictions and reiterating they got rid of the Online Pass for unrelated reasons.  (more…)...

    Here are some basic impressions from the first day being on the show floor of E3 which featured prominently the upcoming EA Sports games. The company shut down any recording of the games at their booth so unlike past years the number of videos and images coming out will be limited.     EA Sports has provided more insight on what to expect from the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Madden NFL 25 launching in November alongside the new systems. Earlier today they discussed improvements to line play and Adrian Peterson as the cover athlete then showing off a trailer but the details now provided are much more substantial.     The Electronic Arts press conference has just wrapped up and the company showcased games like Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, Titanfall, Need for Speed Rivals, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mirrors Edge 2, and Battlefield 4.     After stumbling with promotion of Madden NFL 25 - the first gameplay news was viewed in a distinctly negative fashion with an earlier poll showing only 14% enthused by the details - EA Sports appears to have gotten back on the right track by detailing the additions and improvements for Connected Franchise mode.     Though somewhat overshadowed by all the next-gen news the week started off with details on Connected Franchise for Madden NFL 25 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.     One of the biggest surprises out of the Xbox One reveal event yesterday was EA Sports taking the stage to show off a pre-rendered trailer rather than actual in-game footage for their upcoming sports games.
