    Last week it was gang tackling that was given the spotlight. This week in his producer blog, Ian Cummings displays some of the sideline catches that are new to Madden 08 this year.     EA has released a new set of eight screenshots from Madden 08. So what stands out in these? That new Chargers jersey is sharp! The player models look improved over last year.  I didn't know Jamal Lewis could get off the ground.       IGN has posted up an interview with associate producer for the Wii version of Madden 08. Some of the highlights of it are below. -Focused on refining the controls, making them simple and more responsive -Graphics are improved  -Party mode with 4 player action.   • EA to publish games for the Mac

    EA has announced that they will begin supporting the Mac with games starting next month. Soon after sports titles such as Madden 08 and Tiger Woods 08 will make their way out. I wonder what kind of a market there is for them? They seem to grudgingly release games on the PC and that has a much larger base to draw from. I wouldn't imagine there would be many potential sales but analysis must've shown they could profit off this decision....

    Via EA's producer blogs comes a new video Madden 08 video. In Ian Cummings' entry today is a focused look at the gang tackling. Videos can't show the game changing difference this technology has made for us (and for you all). I tried to get a really good 4 man one, but only got ones where the defender fell backwards at first.
