NBA Live 08 OTP competition to look forward to
I wanted to give some advance notice of a competition that will be held here at the site. Once the Online Team Play is released for NBA Live 08 there will be an event utilizing it on the Xbox 360. That should be out by the end of November, which would mean this will probably be held in early December. The media freaks out over minor injury to Vince Young
Vince Young strained his right quad muscle in the game on Sunday against Tampa Bay and is currently listed as day-to-day. It is possible he may not even miss this weekend's game against the Texans. EA announces second cover featuring steroid user in less than a week
In a bizarre coincidence, EA has announced a new cover athlete for the Spanish language version of Madden 08, Luis Castillo of the San Diego Chargers. Last Thursday fellow teammate Shawne Merriman won the vote to be on the cover of NFL Tour. That means that in less than a week two players who have been either caught (Merriman) or admitted to (Castillo) taking steroids will be the new representatives for these games. NBA Live 08 to add online team play
In a surprising move, EA has announced that online team play will be added to NBA Live 08 via a free downloadable update. This will offer a complete five on five experience over 10 different consoles. Prior to the games starting each individual can choose a position to lock into, or if all 10 slots aren't filled by users you can choose to keep switching between players open during the games. Madden 08 roster update #3 details
A new roster update was released today for the 360 and PS3 versions of Madden 08. Continue through to view the list of the changes that were made. That includes ratings up/down, transactions, contracts, injuries, and the loss or addition of weapons. This is a significant update with a ton of adjustments having been made. NBA Live 08 full online game: Kings @ Warriors
I was able to record a ranked online game against a random opponent. He had the Sacramento Kings against my Golden State Warriors. Once again the experience had absolutely no lag or frame rate issues. Gameplay wise you'll see it is a little more open going up against another user. He ended up getting hot from the outside in the 2nd half and I didn't do much to adjust to it. However I came at him with the Warriors up-tempo style throughout. Who ended up with the victory?
