Madden 09 and Facebreaker Demos Now Available
The demos for EA Sports Madden NFL 09 and Facebreaker are now available for download for the 360 and should both be coming this afternoon for the PS3. Generally the PSN is updated around 3pm PT. It turns out Madden came one day earlier than expected as it had been advertised for August 1st. Madden 09 Site Shows Brett Favre in Buccaneers Uniform
In a curious development the official Madden 09 website is displaying an image of currently retired but likely soon to be active cover athlete Brett Favre in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform. As of this afternoon the Favre image has replaced the Clinton Portis screenshot that had been there for quite some time. With the Madden 09 demo now out in DVD form, and coming next Friday to XBL and PSN, I wanted to drop some quick impressions and videos. I'll have more over the weekend as well. NBA Live 365 Trailer
EA Sports has released a new trailer for NBA Live 09, this one spotlighting the 365 feature. As detailed previously, this will update the game every day based on the latest data and not just in terms of ratings or roster movement. It will add in new players after their first appearance, update tendencies, reflect injuries, and lead into hot and cold streaks. Madden 09 Demo Coming August 1st
The demo for Madden 09 will hit XBL and PSN on Friday August 1st. If you just can't wait until August 1st the same demo (only for the Xbox 360) is available with the purchase of an NFL DVD that releases tomorrow the 22nd. This will not be a typical demo.
