Madden 09 Roster Update #5 Details
The fifth roster update for Madden 09 is planned to be out as early as tomorrow, but as we've learned from previous update delays it would probably be a good idea not to count on it until Monday. NBA 09: The Inside Demo Available
The demo for NBA 09: The Inside is now available on PSN. It has four quarters but each is only one minute long (ugh) with the Celtics vs Lakers on veteran difficulty. An interesting aspect of the demo is you can go through create-a-player (some of which is locked however) and then place him on one of the teams to play with. NBA 2K9 Reverse Fantasy League
More details are now known on what is being referred to as the Reverse Fantasy League for NBA 2K9. Registration for this doesn't begin until release day October 7th. Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash, Greg Oden, Chauncey Billups, Carlos Boozer, Andre Iguodala, Monta Ellis, and Derek Rose will select their own fantasy team of NBA 2K9 gamers to compete on their behalf. Some screenshots and highlight clips from NBA Live 09 have started to make their way onto EA Sports World. NBA Live 09 Price Reduced?
Amazon has lowered the price of every version of NBA Live 09 by $5. So far Amazon is the only retailer to have done this so it may very well be a promotion that they worked out with EA. If it was a total price reduction Gamestop would probably have made the switch at the same time. Madden 09 Patch #2 Now Out
After having to wait a few days from the initial time the second patch for Madden 09 was thought to go live it is now out for the 360 and PS3. As long as your console is connected online you will be automatically prompted to download the patch when next starting up the game. You will not have to restart franchise mode for the effects of the patch to come through. NBA 2K9 Player Ratings
Operation Sports has now posted NBA 2K9 screenshots of each team's full roster. The screenshots display the player's overall ratings along with the grades for the following categories: inside shooting, outside shooting, perimeter defense, post defense, ball handling, rebounding, IQ, and athleticism.
