AZCentral.com is reporting a source has revealed that Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald will be on the cover of Madden 10. However it may not be just Fitzgerald as he may be joined by Steelers SS Troy Polamalu. You can read the full posting on the subject here. I have actually come across some information that could confirm at least part of this rumor but I am checking into it further before posting on it. This duo certainly would be at the top of anyone's most likely list for the cover this ...

Detailed in the blog are areas such as offseason player signing logic, the draft, and player progression. You can check out the full posting here. Last week the Madden 10 website launched and stated that a new set of candidates for the Madden 10 cover would be posted each Monday leading up to the reveal on Thursday April 23rd. The first two possibilities were Adrian Peterson and Ed Reed. As announced just moments ago on EA Sports Live the next two options for the cover are Ben Roethlisberger and Brandon Jacobs. With the amount of exposure Big Ben has received in the first two screenshots and his mention here it makes me doubt he'll ...

Traditionally there has never been much insight into the upcoming Madden before the NFL Draft. This year all that has changed with the Inside EA Blog postings and the first two screenshots having already been officially unveiled and broken down. Ian Cummings, lead designer of Madden 10, today posted a new screenshot. You can see it full size in the gallery. The new screen does a good job of displaying some of the subtle improvements that have been made including the procedural awareness. ...

The last group of picks in the Madden Mock Draft included some controversy over the Seahawks selection of Mark Sanchez. Ironically since then there have been developments which make it appear that Seattle is actually interested in taking Sanchez. It does make sense for the team as well as how it would benefit them in Madden. Continue on for the Raiders, Jaguars, and Packers choices and leave your thoughts in the comments. Remember this is more about what players would improve the teams th...

Reports are now surfacing that the Broncos have agreed to a trade sending Jay Cutler to the Bears. The package for Cutler is said to include two first round picks, a third round pick, and Kyle Orton. A fifth rounder will be sent back along with Cutler to Chicago. That is a hefty price to pay but rare is the opportunity to get a QB of Cutler's caliber. This is especially the case for the Bears who have suffered through mediocrity at the position for so many years. The Broncos definitely come o...

Yesterday Broncos owner Pat Bowlen came out and publicly stated that the team is attempting to trade Jay Cutler. This is the culmination of a rocky month ever since his name surfaced as having been part of the talks between the Chiefs, Patriots, and Bucs in what ended up just being Matt Cassel to the Chiefs. Which team will trade for Jay Cutler and what will that mean for them in Madden 10? Continue on to view the most likely destinations and leave your thoughts in the comments. (more...

The first three selections in the 2009 Madden Mock Draft could well be the same ones chosen on NFL Draft day. However now is where the picks start to deviate from what the normal mocks out there are predicting. Remember this is not my mock of what I expect to go down on April 25th. Instead it is a look at the players teams might choose based on who would help them the most in Madden 10 and beyond. Picks 4-6 belong to the Seahawks, Browns, and Bengals. Continue on to view those selections ...
