EA Sports has released the next two candidates for the cover of Madden 10. They are Chiefs QB Matt Cassel and Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware. The two of them join Ed Reed, Adrian Peterson, Brandon Jacobs, and Ben Roethlisberger. Ware makes a lot of sense and it is no surprise that he would be included in this group. Outside of Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu it would be Ware and maybe James Harrison as the defensive players who could plausibly be considered for the cover. He had a monster season and...

Along with the screenshot came a new posting on the Inside EA Blog recapping the Madden Community Event held last Friday. You can ch...

Continuing on with the Madden Mock Draft are three teams that are on the cusp of playoff contention and are good teams in Madden with each having very different strengths. This draft pick could help to push them over the edge with all three of them probably benefiting most from a defensive addition. Up now are the Redskins, Saints, and Texans. Remember this is more about what players would improve the teams the most in Madden 10 and beyond than it is a prediction of who will be taken in t...

Today a new article on the Inside EA Blog focuses on the addition of Adaptive AI. This is something that will be seen in both Madden 10 and NCAA Football 10. This is certainly something that has been long overdue and will hopefully lead to a more realistic simulation whether that be offline or online. You can check out the full posting here. First and foremost, we hope that our Adaptive AI will add a ton of replay value to our games this year by forcing you as a gamer to continue to mix up ...

It is at about this point in the Madden Mock Draft where it starts to become more difficult to choose between players. There is more subjectivity involved in evaluating potential ratings and what they would mean for the teams. A bigger consideration becomes comparing options as far as how much they can offer immediately and what positions are easier to draft valuable contributors in later rounds. Continue on to view the picks for the 49ers, Bills, and Broncos. Remember this is more about ...
