  • Next Madden 10 Roster Update This Week

One of the most frequent questions I receive has to do with when the next Madden roster update is expected to be out. For the start of the NFL regular season update I've been stating that the attempt would be made to have it out prior to the opening game on Thursday night. That has been confirmed today by both Donny Moore and Phil Frazier. While they are making a push to have it out before the opener that may not be possible given the scope of the changes. So they are providing a wider wi...

The content will be available to download on Thursday September 24th for the PS3 and 360. The DLC pack includes the AFL Legacy jerseys, five new achievements/trophies, and five new Madden Moments. • Michael Crabtree Remains Unsigned

With the deadline today for teams to cut down to their final 53 man rosters there remains only one draft pick left unsigned. The #10 draft pick WR Michael Crabtree has made no progress in his stand of demanding bigger numbers than his draft slot would represent. The 49ers don't appear willing to give in and Crabtree has indicated he will sit out the season and re-enter the draft next year. That brings up an interesting question regarding Madden 10 and probably the reasoning behind not bei...

Last Thursday I mentioned the likelihood of AFL Legacy jerseys being included in DLC or an upcoming patch for Madden 10. The very next day a DLC pack featuring Legacy jerseys and themed presentation elements appeared on the Euro PSN store. The DLC pack is listed as being free and includes 16 jerseys and special presentation for those respective games in franchise mode. An image of the description was captured and posted on the Operation Sports forum and can be seen here. Apparently the DL...

Early this year I did an article relating to the huge leaps in online participation being seen recently in series such as NBA Live, FIFA, and NHL. New modes like Online Team Play along with much improved online stability have paid off and resulted in unprecedented usage. That in turn has led to a much bigger focus towards online play now seen with other titles receiving their own expanded and unique online modes. Peter Moore has announced that Madden 10 has shattered previous online relat...

Well, you didn’t think that T.J. Houshmandzadeh would be the only player to publicly complain about his Madden ’10 rating did you?  Of course you didn’t. Not when we colorful players out there like Chad Ochocinco, T.O. and Roy Williams. Williams is the latest NFL player to complain about his ratings in Madden. In an interview with the San Antonio Express-News', Williams had this to say: "I opened up the Madden today, and I'm pretty (mad) about that game," Williams sai...
