Ever since the release of the demo for Madden 11 the community has been up-in-arms as it relates to the Strategy Pad which moved all pre-snap adjustments to the D-Pad. There are certainly multiple valid reasons why people are upset about the new procedure being introduced but one that may be harder to explain is how it "just doesn't feel right". GoMadden has put together a video that goes over in more technical detail why the placement of the D-Pad on the controller makes the change one of mor...

Going into the Madden 11 demo I expected a somewhat flat response but what we have gotten (albeit in the early hours) is much more negative. While there are a number of things factoring into that the main one centers on the "Strategy Pad". There is essentially no benefit to the pre-snap adjustments being changed in this fashion and it has thrown a wrench into the level of comfort gamers have with Madden. The Strategy Pad now houses all the pre-snap adjustments via the D-Pad. The most commo...

The demo for Madden 11 is now available for the Xbox 360 and will be arriving for the PS3 this afternoon. The demo is made up of a full game with five minute quarters featuring the Colts @ Jets.
