Madden 11 Roster Update #3 Details
The third roster update for Madden 11 released earlier this morning for the 360 and PS3 and includes over 500 total roster changes taking into account all the releases, signings, and trades that occurred through the NFL cut down to 53 man rosters. There are a few ratings changes mixed in but this update is primarily intended to settle the appropriate rosters in and the regular season updates will provide more in the way of ratings changes. Madden 11 Sales Open Strong
After a start to the year that saw dramatic declines in sales with UFC Undisputed 2010 and Tiger Woods 11, NCAA Football 11 was able to buck the trend by growing by 8%. Now the official numbers from NPD have arrived for Madden 11 and tell a similar tale. Overall sales for the game rose 12% year-over-year. (more…)...

Madden 11 Screens: Late Preseason Moves
With the next roster update for Madden 11 expected by the end of the week I got the jump on a few of the bigger transactions that have taken place recently. Players such as T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Matt Leinart have moved and with the cut down to 53 creating a huge number of changes (from adds/cuts to ratings to numbers) this is the most substantial update that will occur in that regard all year. Madden 11 Patch #2 Details
The first highly anticipated patch for Madden 11 arrived today for the PS3 and 360. The patch brings back in the classic pre-play controls that were removed and replaced with the "Strategy Pad". It also adds in "Madden Moments Live" which will present new moments throughout the year for purchase. Madden 11 Roster Update #2 Details
The second roster update for Madden 11 has gone live. This is a pretty significant update that includes a bunch of ratings changes based on preseason performance, player additions, and movement due to injuries. Curiously while Vincent Jackson was removed from the depth chart other players in the same situation, Darrelle Revis and teammate Marcus McNeill, did not see their status change in this update. Maroney and Loeffler Upset With Their Representation in Madden 11
It never fails that there will be players that publicly speak out against their Madden ratings. Many go about contacting EA behind the scenes in an attempt to get their ratings boosted but others aren't shy to go on record about it. Two as of late have cropped up. Next Madden 11 Roster Update Coming Soon
It appears that the second roster update for Madden 11 will be coming sooner than anticipated. According to Donny Moore the next one is being targeted to arrive this weekend. This update would likely attempt to position rosters to be in better shape before NFL teams set their final 53 after the last preseason game.
