Another Patch Coming for Madden 11
As mentioned on Twitter today by the art director for Madden 11 the game will be receiving a fourth patch with a targeted release in November. Art related updates will include the Vikings receiving jerseys with their 50th anniversary patch, a Saints jersey with a Super Bowl patch, and the Redskins home and away uniform combos. Pop-Up Ads Return to Madden
The latest patch for Madden 11 seems to have resurrected the scorebar pop-up ads that first appeared in Madden 10. Drawing the ire of many gamers who contacted me regarding the issue, this form of advertising was thought to have been removed for this year due to the heavy ad placement found in different areas of the game. Madden 11 Roster Update #6 Details
The next roster update for Madden 11, expected out on Friday, takes into consideration everything that has happened up to and through week three of the NFL season. This update includes Eagles QB Michael Vick getting a 5 point boost up to an 85 just in time to face off with Donovan McNabb. He has gone from a 75 to an 85 over the course of the last three updates. The fifth roster update for Madden 11 is completed and likely to arrive on Friday. The first 100 rating for this year has been granted to Randy Moss in the "Spectacular Catch" category.
