A movie based on the EA Sports Madden game franchise is in the works according to The Wrap. Electronic Arts is developing the film around idea of the "Madden Cover Curse" which has become a go-to story for the mainstream media over the years. Other than the general concept there are no other details on the project. Madden 11 Roster Update #16 Details
The post NFL week 14 roster update for Madden 11, scheduled to release as usual on Friday, turns out to be much more extensive than last week's. Andre Johnson captures the coveted 99 overall rating and Adrian Peterson has lost it dropping down to 98. Troy Polamalu, Haloti Ngata, and Champ Bailey all move to a 98 and within striking distance of the 99 before season's end. Week 14 of the NFL season featured some miserable QB play, the end of Brett Favre's streak and possibly career, and a number of big performances. Madden 11: Top Sports Game in November
Last year Madden 10 was the top sports game in November and the series has traditionally done well over the holidays. However given the huge sales boost that NBA 2K11 received the expectation was that game would maintain its lead. Despite NBA 2K11 doubling its opening month sales in October and finishing in first place it fell to ninth in November while Madden 11 landed in fourth. (more…)...

Madden 11 Patch #5 Details
In a surprise move EA Sports has released a fifth patch for Madden 11. Upon starting the game for the 360 or PS3 the prompt to download the update should appear. Currently though patch distribution for both consoles seems to be inconsistent with some having received the patch while many others are still waiting for it to arrive. Madden 11 Roster Update #15 Details
The post NFL week 13 roster update for Madden 11 is slated to go out as usual on Friday. There are not a whole lot of ratings changes this time around though Tom Brady and Adrian Peterson are notable for having moved back up to 99 overall.
