Madden NFL 12 Demo Details
EA Sports has just announced details on the upcoming demo for Madden NFL 12. The demo will feature a rematch of last season's NFC Championship game with the eventual Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers against the Chicago Bears in Soldier Field with five minute quarters but commentary stripped out. The NFL Lockout is Over
With just a brief respite at the start of the NFL Draft the 136 day long lockout is for all intents and purposes over. Owners and player representatives have agreed to a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Beginning tomorrow teams will be able to sign rookies (drafted and undrafted), make trades, and begin negotiating contracts with free agents. Quarterbacks are likely the most difficult position to rate for incoming rookies. As the most high profile position fans tend to know them and have cemented certain perceptions and expectations. ESPN has started laying out team overall ratings by division in the lead-up to the player rating reveals which will begin in early August. The team ratings are somewhat meaningless at this point given free agency is still yet to occur and major trades could happen but it does provide an opportunity to see any impact from rookies and how the rosters are as they currently stand. Madden NFL 12 Demo Details Coming Soon
EA Sports will be announcing the details of the demo for Madden NFL 12 on the evening of Tuesday July 26th. The demo is expected to arrive for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on either August 9th or 16th. The finalized date will be confirmed along with news on what teams will be involved and the structure of the demo such as the quarter lengths and settings.
