At the mid-season point I put together a list of potential candidates for the Madden NFL 13 cover. The assumption was made that another tournament would be held and for the purpose of that analysis any players that were eligible the year prior were eliminated as were those scheduled to be free agents. The 2011-12 NFL season is officially in the books. The New York Giants prevailed over the New England Patriots 21-17 as Eli Manning captured the MVP.
