NBC Cancels Trauma
As announced yesterday NBC will not be ordering any new episodes of the freshman show Trauma. The original pickup was for 13 episodes and those will air as planned. Trauma was easily the most expensive new program for NBC this year and despite decent ratings it wasn't enough to keep the show going. Lost To Go On Hiatus During Olympics
The highly anticipated sixth and final season of Lost is slated to begin in January. The thought given to starting a show then is that it allows the network to run the whole season uninterrupted. Netflix Streaming Coming to PS3
As announced today the PS3 will be receiving Netflix streaming in November. This has been a really nice feature for watching movies and TV shows on the PC or the Xbox 360 for some time now. The biggest difference though is the PS3 will require the use of a "instant streaming Blu-ray disc" while the 360 has the program is fully integrated into XBL.
