    The 19th season of Survivor concludes tomorrow night in the two hour finale of Survivor: Samoa followed by the reunion show. This has been a highly entertaining season based almost solely on one man. Russell has run the game and created some of the most memorable moments in the history of Survivor.     Fox may be taking action to help bolster the popular but ratings challenged Fringe. In what would be an interesting tactic a new episode of Fringe may air on January 11th at 9pm. House was just moved up to return on that date at 8pm. This is being seen by most as an attempt to squash the momentum of Chuck which settles into that 8pm on Monday slot after having its third season premiere the night before.     The season four finale of Dexter captured record ratings for original programming on Showtime. Growing 71% over the season three finale it drew over 2.5 million viewers at 9pm and over 3 million including the replay later in the evening.It was the biggest broadcast on Showtime overall since a 1999 Mike Tyson fight.   • Golden Globe Nominations Announced

    The nominations for the Golden Globes were released this morning. Up in the Air had the most for a movie with six and in a surprise it was Glee capturing the most on the TV side with four. HBO blew away all other networks by racking up 17 of them. The broadcast will take place on January 17th and is hosted by Ricky Gervais.     TNT launched its new series Men of a Certain Age last night and received encouraging ratings. Over 5.4 million viewers tuned it which made it the biggest series premiere for a cable channel in 2009. It was expected to draw an audience that slanted older but surprisingly also provided an increase in the 18-49 demo over its lead-in The Closer.     The significance in the numbers of DVR viewers continues to rise and so does its importance to the success of the shows most affected. While it can't single-handedly save a program (ex. Dollhouse) it is now being considered more by the networks. Fringe continues to stand out the most considering it goes up against powerhouses such as CSI, Grey's Anatomy, and The Office.     FlashForward has been having its issues which include ratings drops, complaints about the story progression from fans, and production shutdowns. It hit yet another series low in ratings last night. Despite this there was some hope with the writers having acknowledged the problems and promising that upcoming episodes would address them.
