Conan O’Brien Headed to TBS
The assumption has always been that somehow Conan O'Brien would end up at Fox. Sure there were multiple complications involved with that but the match seemed made in heaven. Other options out there such as Starz, Showtime, or Comedy Central never felt all that realistic in comparison. However in a move that has surprised most everyone including industry insiders, O'Brien has agreed to a deal that will give him a show on TBS.

24 is Officially Canceled
A couple weeks back the story broke that this was likely to be the last season for 24. Today that became a reality as the lead director and producer for the series, Jon Cassar, has tweeted that the show has officially come to an end.

Having not done an article on the ratings of a specific show in some time I thought this would be a good opportunity to look at a few recent premieres and a couple shows that are on the bubble in terms of renewal.

Futurama Returns in June
It's been known for a while now that Futurama was coming back with all new episodes to air on Comedy Central. The show has taken a similar road back as Family Guy. After getting mediocre ratings in its initial run on Fox, it was canceled, only to see its popularity grow over the years due to DVD and reruns on Comedy Central.
Unlike Family Guy I really enjoy Futurama, though it isn't a show that I have necessarily gone out of my way to watch. When nothing else is on its something I flip over...
