AMC Cancels Rubicon
AMC has announced they will not be renewing Rubicon, their conspiracy-based original series that recently completed its first season. This comes as little surprise as Rubicon was never able to grow its audience and ratings wise went virtually unwatched.
Rubicon was very slow and extremely methodical while carrying a few great characters and a very ominous tone which was refreshing. The final few episodes of the season were excellent, though the finale left a little something to be desired. ...

Conan finally debuted last night and the ratings beat out all its rivals including The Tonight Show. Conan also boosted the ratings of Lopez Tonight which shifted to midnight but got twice the ratings that it had been getting at 11pm.

NBC Cancels Undercovers
NBC has announced that they have canceled JJ Abrams' Undercovers. The last scheduled episode will air on December 1st however three more episodes were produced and may be burned off somewhere down the line.
The cancellation news does not come as a surprise. The show received mediocre reviews, did not debut strong in the ratings, and fell every week since. Its most recent episode drew just a 1.3 in the 18-49 demo which is a terrible number for a new episode of an original series on network T...

It was previously announced that a reboot of the '80s classic cartoon Thundercats was in the works. Until now we really hadn't heard anything new. Producer Michael Jelenic discussed some new details with MTV about the cartoon.
"One thing is that I tried to simplify the mythology a little bit," he said. "It's a pretty complicated backstory that borrows from a lot of other sci-fi stuff, like Superman and Star Wars. In developing this, I wanted it to be a little more simple. In the other vers...

AMC has been building a brand established on high quality but typically low ratings. Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Rubicon are prime examples of that. The Walking Dead however provided wi...
