DVD/Blu-ray Releases for Week of September 13th
It's a highly anticipated week of releases as Star Wars finally makes it to Blu-ray alongside one of the hits of the summer movie season Thor. There are also a number of television seasons for series with devoted fan bases. My top recommendation of the group is Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (though I'd suggest watching Spartacus: Blood and Sand first as the prequel holds more impact that way).

Netflix Begins Streaming Breaking Bad
The changes to content being offered by Netflix through its streaming service continues with the addition of one of TVs best series. The first three seasons of Breaking Bad are now available! For anyone who needs to catch up - or needs to start with the show - this is a great opportunity. It is currently in its fourth season and was renewed for an additional 16 episodes to finish off the series with either an extended fifth season or two more abbreviated seasons.

Netflix Will Lose Starz Next Year
As Netflix continues to add content to its streaming service - with everything from agreements with ABC, Mad Men, Miramax, and even their own original programming - they have lost their biggest content supplier. Breaking Bad Renewed for Final Run
As one of the best shows on television, and getting its highest ratings ever, it seemed a sure thing that Breaking Bad would get at least another season in which the story could be wrapped up. Coming out of Comic-Con is the first trailer for the upcoming season of Spartacus: Vengeance. The Starz series continues with its second season following Spartacus: Blood and Sand - though counting the prequel Spartacus: Gods of the Arena it essentially becomes the third season.
