The sequel to the 1994's Dumb and Dumber that everyone wanted, and instead in 2003 were given an absolutely terrible prequel, is finally going to materialize. The Farrelly Brothers will be bringing back Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels to reprise their roles nearly 20 years after release of the original. Now that filming on the Farrelly's The Three Stooges has been completed they are able to start to work towards coming projects - with their next one expected to be the sequel to the fan ...

There was no question that it would happen but today AMC made it official - the network has picked up the zombie-survival comic adaptation The Walking Dead for a third season. Four really solid movie options release this week - and nothing of significance TV wise. The summer blockbuster Marvel's Captain America leads the way but the Jurassic Park Trilogy (for the first time on Blu-ray) is going to intrigue many. Attack the Block was able to garner brilliant reviews and audience response but didn't gain much traction in theaters while Winnie the Pooh will hold appeal for families. (more…)...

The sequel to last year's Piranha 3D which got decent reviews and audience response as a guilty pleasure - the story continues with the pre-historic school of blood-thirsty piranhas making their way into a newly opened waterpark. Piranha 3DD is slated to release in 2012. ...

When the stated "trilogy" of Michael Bay's ended with Transformers: Dark of the Moon the widespread assumption was that the franchise would continue, or reboot, with someone else directing. When the film topped the previous two and reached over $1.1 billion worldwide in grosses that became inevitable. The surprising thing now though is the latest word has Bay possibly returning to direct the next two entries in the franchise which would be filmed back-to-back in the same manner that other fr...

Last year The Walking Dead became the highest rated cable show of all-time. The second season season premiere last night shattered those numbers as it bought in 7.3 million viewers for the first showing and 11 million total for the evening when counting the encore. The critical 18-49 demo had a 4.2 rating breaking previous cable records. The premiere drew rave reviews but reaction amongst viewers has been decidedly more mixed. While I enjoyed the episode the pacing was hampered severely b...
