Surrogates stars Bruce Willis as an FBI agent investigating a murder in a world that no longer is accustomed to it. The use of surrogates allows for everyone to go about their lives through the safety of their own living avatar, at least until the incident reveals there is more to it all than people realize. The ads have been intriguing and Willis is usually bankable for a solid opening. There has also been an absence of action thrillers recently. The movie was screened to critics earlier th...

The premieres of House and Dancing with the Stars dominated the evening of Monday September 21st while Heroes disappointed. Fox came away with the win for the night, ABC placed second and NBC finished in a distant fourth. A significant development for House is seen in the 16% increase over last season's premiere. Fox did a great job of really making this premiere an "event" and it really felt a lot like a standalone movie that anyone would enjoy even those who may not have followed the se...
