For the second straight week the animated movie Monsters vs. Aliens topped all DVD sales. Year One was the most rented movie last week. Yahoo has released the first trailer for Edge of Darkness starring Mel Gibson. This represents Gibson's first lead role since Signs in 2002. The movie tells the story of a homicide detective investigating the death of his activist daughter. Jon Favreau Will Not Direct The Avengers
With the current and coming crop of Marvel superhero movies leading up to them combining forces in The Avengers, common thought was that Jon Favreau would take the project on as director.
