Last month the first trailer for Hot Tub Time Machine made its way out. Though the movie hasn't officially been rated yet it will end up with an R rating and because of that the standard trailer can't really get across the true nature of the comedy. So in an attempt to do so a brand new Red Band trailer arrived today. The movie is directed by Steve Pink (Accepted) who was the writer of High Fidelity and Grosse Point Blank and stars John Cusack along with a host of comedians. The story cent...

Last month I wrote about the upcoming film Buried which is actually set to screen sometime at the Sundance Film Festival which began today and runs through the 31st. The script has gotten rave reviews and the buzz is high on Ryan Reynolds who is supposedly the only person that will be seen on screen. In Buried he plays a private contractor in Iraq that is attacked and wakes up in a coffin buried alive with only a lighter, flashlight, and cell phone. The entirety of the movie is spent in that c...

Although we knew who the director was, we didn't know what direction the film would go. Today, Risky Business blogs shares some details on the reboot such as budget and possible storyline. Webb, who has options on two sequels, will now tackle a Jamie Vanderbilt script that sees a “Spider-Man” movie that will look and feel very different from the big m...

NYMag.com is reporting that Sony will soon announce they have signed (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb to direct the next three Spider-Man films. According to NYMag.com, there were two major factors in going with Webb. The decision to focus more on a teenage Peter Parker's inner conflicts was one, and the other was price. Webb came at a cheaper price compared to previous director Sam Raimi. "The deal just now being sewn up calls for Webb to be paid roughly $10 million for the first f...

I never envisioned the SNL skit "MacGruber" would be turned into a movie. It seems like most everyone that hears about this expects it to be terrible and its tough to argue against that. Personally I've never found the skits to be funny at all. That being said there is actually some buzz around this movie that it pushes unexpected limits and has gotten great response in test screenings. The first trailer came out today and somewhat surprisingly being red band it implies the movie will have an...
