Whether the Curb Your Enthusiasm series continues from one season to the next has been dependent solely on whether writer and star Larry David has wanted to bring it back. So far he has through seven seasons with each one ending on a note that could have held up as series finales. HBO continues to provide flexibility and an opening for the highly regarded Curb Your Enthusiasm to return. Variety has a story citing David's recent comments stating there is a "pretty good chance" that Curb will...

I've found myself to really enjoy movies with modern war themes, especially ones with a layer of conspiracy, and definitely count myself amongst fans of Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon. So I went into Green Zone fully expecting to like it and wanted to to temper my reaction to evaluate it for what it was and avoid being influenced by my personal tendencies. Green Zone ended up taking care of that for me though. It wasn't as fulfilling as I had hoped, and tracked into political grounds that were...

As expected Alice in Wonderland came in #1 having fended off four new entries in theaters. All four of them actually came in under industry expectations but in the same order that most expected. Alice has now made over $200 million but will have only one more weekend with most of the 3D screens. Green Zone, the Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass re-teaming, came in under $15 million despite a strong marketing push and ties to the Bourne franchise. Reviews have been mixed (mine will be up today ...

While the anticipation over who will get the lead role of Steve Rogers in Captain America continues to generate a great deal of speculation, Marvel is in final talks with an actor that will take on the role of film's villain. Hugo Weaving (Matrix and Lord of the Rings trilogies) is expected to sign on to play Red Skull. Hitler gave Johann Schmidt a unique uniform with a grotesque red skull mask and he emerged as the Red Skull. His role was the embodiment of Nazi intimidation, while Hitler co...

For the last few months we've heard rumors, and read bits and pieces of information concerning the next 'Batman' film and the 'Superman' reboot. None of the info though was coming Christopher Nolan himself. Nolan is considered by many to be the most important piece to either of these films. After the success of The Dark Knight, many fans wanted a sequel but we weren't sure if we were getting one. All signs pointed to yes, but until today we hadn't heard anything concrete. The Los Angeles Tim...
