Michael Bay Not a Fan of 3D Conversions
In my review of Alice in Wonderland I talk about how mediocre the 3D effects are given that it was converted after being filmed. Early reports are similar for the next in the line of 3D conversions, Clash of the Titans. Apparently Michael Bay agrees as he has now stated, after having a test run on some Transformers footage, that the conversion process results in something that "looks like fake 3D". ’300′ 3D Re-Release And Prequel Details
Superherohype.com had the chance to sit down with director Zack Snyder to discuss his upcoming movies. Among the topics discussed were a re-release of 2007's 300 in 3D, and the prequel. Apparently, Warner Bros. converted a piece of 300 into 3D to show the director how the conversion looked. Snyder was impressed and confirmed that there is talk of re-releasing the whole film in 3D. Review: Alice in Wonderland
Tim Burton has always been very hit or miss with me. Big Fish is one of my favorite movies and he has delivered classics like Edward Scissorhands and Beetle Juice, while many of his other films I have really disliked. His visual style and quirky, dark natured story telling works sometimes and others it doesn't. Futurama Returns in June
It's been known for a while now that Futurama was coming back with all new episodes to air on Comedy Central. The show has taken a similar road back as Family Guy. After getting mediocre ratings in its initial run on Fox, it was canceled, only to see its popularity grow over the years due to DVD and reruns on Comedy Central.
